The AIEC Global Trade and Investment Mission is building strategic networks are fundamental to the success of a start-up. Hosted by the African Innovation & Entrepreneurship Centre.

At this event I will be advocating for access to inclusive finance for local green entrepreneurs - start-ups in AFRICA to promote climate adaptation solutions and build resilience in informal settlements🌍This is the message that I will be carrying through to the African Investors next week at the AIEC Energy Trade Conference.

  Workshop Overview This was an incredible opportunity to participate in 2 day workshop offered by Unido offering Capacity Building for Public Sector in Female Empowerment and Inclusion in the Green Economy.   I hosted a Sustainable Packaging Masterclass in November 2023 for the Future Females Circular Economy Business School. Our 50 program participants were invited to expand their knowledge and apply principles in the SMME businesses. Just Energy Transition Inclusion of Small Businesses in South Africa

  On 31 July 2024 Elize Hattingh hosted round table discussions with stakeholders that are actively supporting local green entrepreneurs in South Africa renewable energy and energy efficient sectors. The event was hosted by Trade Industrial Policy Strategies (TIPS) at the Annual TIPS Forum in Pretoria. We discuss green business barriers that marginalised groups such as female-owned, youth-owned and people with disabilities-owned are experiencing. Senior representatives from the Department of Minerals and Energy participated together with IDC representatives.
