Leadership Training for Female Multipliers in the Circular Economy

A huge shout out to  PREVENT Waste Alliance  and  Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH  for offering this life-changing Leadership Program for female leaders in Circular Economy. I enjoyed spending time (in person in Europe) with other women from 3rd world countries to learn about their leadership challenges and experiences in implementing Circular Economy initiatives.  During our 1 week stay in Bonn, we used our time after class to document best practice recycling and upcycling examples in Germany that are linked to the EU Green Deal that shows potential to be implemented in our own countries. I loved the enthusiasm and hunger to learn and grow not only in ourselves but also in our local communities! Looking forward to a fellow country study tour to Columbia, Georgia, Albanie, Kosovo, and South Africa.  #circulareconomy   #circularity   #FFBS   #futurefemales   #femaleleadership See the post from Pr...

Female Empowerment in Solar

You got to love FEMALE GREEN CREATION Magic Powers! Photos of the all female workforce behind Ener-G-Africa's newly opened 20MW solar panel assembly plant in Ndabeni, Cape Town. At the grand opening of Ener-G-Africa, Africa's only all-female solar panel assembly plant, based in Ndabeni, Cape Town. That's right, all the ground staff at this factory are females from previously disadvantaged communities. They are also the only German TÜV (Technischer Überwachungsverein, English translation: Technical Inspection Association) certified tier-one small solar panel manufacturer in the world. Well done to GreenCape 's Lisa Johansson for facilitating this $2.1million investment into the Mother City!
